God uses humble men.
Or said a better way, “Blessed are the poor in spirit”.
The whole Bible is full of stories of how God used ordinary, resource-limited humans, to fulfill His great purposes.
It’s interesting that the connection between a move of God upon someone’s life and that person’s ability to humble their selves before Him are tied together. When a person truly (true as in the sight of God) submits, crazy things happen! BIG THINGS happen. Unexplainable.
As men, we ascribe to ourselves. We try to understand what we did to make stuff happen.
Reversed?
Man doesn’t control God. Nor can he understand God’s mind or His plans.
Every ounce of management & leadership we have, comes from God. He’s the leader. Not us. Even if we think we’ve got some mad skills in this arena, God gave ‘em to us.
When this God-designed order gets mixed up; man things happen. Things like disappointment, failure, pain and regret.
Our limitations are God’s way of reminding us to chase after Him. Not because he needs our help with anything, but because we need His goodness. We need His assistance to get through every moment we encounter.
And life is full of tests that bring us into alignment with God’s master plan (aka His will).
How will we respond? Will we turn to Him in times of challenge? Or will we try and handle it on our own, with the resources we “see” in front of us right now?
God uses humble men. I think this is why James wrote, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

God has certainly blessed you - I believe because you are quick to attribute all your blessings come directly from God and not by your own works. You are a great example to many, and I thank God for you, brother!

In the last days of my husband's life as he lay there very sick in the ICU, my children and I had nothing in our pockets or in the bank or in the house where most families would have hidden something somewhere in a cookie jar. We had this enormous hospital bill staring us in the face aiming to kill us too. But we trudged on with a silent trusting prayer in our hearts as we tried solicited friends' help. We felt and believed that God would do something.
My husband died inside the ICU. Things now moved quickly.... hospital bills, the preparation and transfer to the wake venue, and all the nitty-gritty hard details of having a beloved pass away. And you know what? ....
In every step of the way... God provided for the need. He sent people, resources, opportunities, and most of all He sent the good Mayor and my husband's employer who so generously took care of the bills. Things went smoothly up to his final resting place. At the end of the day, my children and I saw that we even had much left over and enough to settle other debts which their father left behind.
It's been three years now and we love going back to that day and see how God worked in our lives.. how He took control of everything. And that memory always moves me to tears in gratitude and faith.
God took control of everything and truly keeps His promise of being there --- 'I am always with you.'
We have a Magnificent God.

Tag Heuer Watches To Reconsider Relationship With Tiger Woods
I recently mentioned that replica Tag Heuer affirmed its commitment to Tiger Woods as a brand ambassador. They publicly stated that they would stick by the super star as a face of the brand despite and alleged transgressions. It now looks like they might have altered their position. This is the second time this month that Tag Heuer Watch has had to "restate" an earlier announcement. The first was in regard to the origin on their new Caliber 1888 movement.
Now tag heuer formula seems to suggest that Tiger Woods may not be in their short term future goals.We have already seen Tag Heuer pull Tiger Wood based ads, but that makes sense in the immediate given the negative publicity of Tiger's current extramarital activities. Now it looks like tag aquaracer is seriously considering their future with the golf superstar. Woods is his announcement to leave the professional world of golf for some indeterminable amount of time. Several months from now when Tiger Woods hasn't been in a golf tournament in months, he will just be another rich guy in a Nike baseball cap (unless they pull out too). tag carrera picture is that because Tiger Woods is exiting the world of golf for a while, he is severely jeopardizing his main income stream - endorsements.
