So many times we fall for it. It must be our finite minds, our propensity for greed or our ruthless pursuit of self-exaltation.
We take things, which have been in motion long before we were, put our own stamp on them, and reframe the idea as our own.
Like we created it. Like we own it. Like we make it new.
It could be anything really. It could be words. It could be music. It could be an ideology. It could be a process, or a project or a presentation.
Exactly why do we think so highly of ourselves? Why do we buy into the notion that we are it? That others are objects of our perception. As if we, objects of creation, were somehow made to be set above the rest of our brotherhood or objectivity.
In our universe, we imagine everything to be in alignment with our desires, our needs and agendas.
We dream of making our "mark" and leaving our "legacy"... how sad.
Determining whether something or someone is good or bad, is based solely upon how we are impacted emotionally, spiritually, physically. Relativity is paramount.
In this environment we are confronted with a choice.
To remain in the mindset of me as everything, or to give up this short-sided, self-deceived outlook and into truth.
Truth as revealed by our creator God.
Once we submit to the ideas of His Kingdom (World), things are only then new. It’s the genesis of identity and the end of deception.
And it is, where life begins…
"I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind." ::: Ecclesiastes 1:14
